The Sweetest Prayer is From a Child!

At the beginning of this month, Nate, Blake and I were sitting at the table for dinner and had prayed and started eating when all of a sudden, Blake grabbed both Nate and I's hands, bowed his head and began to say his very first prayer. His little head was bowed down and he began to talk in his own little language and then said "Amen". It was the sweetest thing ever. Nate and I both looked at each other and did not know what to say. I am not sure what it is that Blake said in that prayer but the Lord does and that is all that matters. It makes Nate and I proud to know that Blake has seen that prayer is important to us and understands that it is something that we do on a everyday basis. I was so proud of him. So now, instead of Nate or I praying at dinner, Blake helps us out. He gets to say his prayer first, then we kind of add some things for him to repeat and then we all look at eachother and say "Amen".

that is so awesome amanda! wow! what a beautiful story, I'm sure that brings God so much glory when little children pray and have a childlike faith in him...it's also a reflection of your prayers for Blake and your faith...what an answer to prayer and affirmation from God...so cool...i can't wait to see that happen with Noah.
