We have been trying to ween Mckenna to a bottle for about a month now and we have little to no sucess with it. She refusses to take the bottle each time. We have tried two different formulas, 5 differnt bottles and even went to the extent of having Blake give it to her instead of one of us. None of that worked. Nate, the wonderful husband and dad that he is, has been researching this topic for several days on how to get your baby to take a bottle. Wednesday night he told me some interesting facts that I found hard to believe but was willing to try at that point. He said that he has read that if your baby will not take a bottle, then try a sippy cup. So we pulled out one of Blakes cups and sure enough, Mckenna took it on the first try. She had a little bit of hard time as it hard top lid, but she drank it. So I went to Kroger and purchased a Nuk Learner Cup, tried it.....and success!!!! She now will drink for the cup/bottle. I really like the Nuk cup as you can take the handles off and it looks like a bottle, this way people dont think we are weird for making our 5 month old drink from a sippy cup.
