Miracle of the Moment

Last night was an absoultely amazing night for Nate and I. We got the opportunity to go and see Michael W. Smith and Steven Curtis Chapman in concert at the Aronoff Center downtown. First off, the Aronoff Center is beautiful. We have never been there so I was amazed at what I saw when we walked in. We were in the second row from the back on the 3rd balcony (it took me about 10 minutes until I didn't feel dizzy), but our view was unbelievable. Both Steven and Michael came out right at 8 and sang a few worship songs together. Then Steven took the show for about an hour or more. He talked a lot about how his family was doing and about his faith. He talked about how everything we have and love really belongs to God that we are just here on earth for a brief time until we will all eventually be with Him. We are to take each moment and live it to the fullest. It was weird that that is what he talked about seeing as I am really trying to live each moment for what it is worth.
Then Michael came back out and sang along with Steven again. They did a lot of bits and snippets of some of their older songs. This was fun and brought back a lot of memories for me. Michael then sang for about an hour and did an amazing job. Then at about 10:45, Steven came back out and they sang one final song together. Everyone was on their feet and applauding and sad the concert had reached its end. I could not have asked for a better date night with Nathan.
