We recently got back from our vacation with my side of the family. We had a great time and really enjoyed our time. We had a long drive there, but the kids did awesome in the car. We watched a lot of movies and didn't have to make too many stops. We arrived at our Beach house in Virginia on Saturday afternoon and could not wait to get into the pool. The kids were not to fond of the ocean, they liked the sand, but loved the pool we had back at the house much better, which is where we spent most of our days. We had a lot of down time and just enjoyed being together with no agenda. Some of the highlights for each of us would be...Mckenna playing peek-a-boo with Uncle Kasey, Blake jumping into the pool for hours on end, Nate actually getting to sit with me at church on Sunday and for me it was laying out in the sun chatting with my sister with no interruptions while the kids napped each day. Thanks goes to 'G' for planning this wonderful trip and bringing us all together for the week. It was nice being able to spend so much time with him and my brother and sister.
