The past two weekends I have held events for families at the church. Last weekend it was a Father and Son night with a bonfire, hot dogs and smores. This weekend it was just for the girls and we stayed in the air condition and painted pottery. I had a great time with both groups.
With the boys, they had a hayride, and just ran around and had a good time. Yesterday, I got to sit and chat with the girls about lots of fun girly things. It was neat to see the bond that the father and son had and then the bond a mother and daughter had. It really gave me a glimpse at what is in store for Nate and I and what we will have with our own two kids.
