I've always been amazed at how boys love cars, trains and superheros and girls love babies and playing with their kitchen sets. This holds very true with our two. Blake always has a car, a train or a superhero in his hands and Mckenna loves her baby dolls and her kitchen set. One day about 2 months ago, I was playing dolls with her and she told me to hold Baby Kate. I just looked at her and thought, "Who is Baby Kate?" She then handed me her doll. I love that she has named her baby. The funny thing is, I am not sure where she has heard the name Kate at. Either way, I love it and she loves Kate!!! The other day when I needed to take some pictures for my photography class while practicing on all my camera settings, Mckenna was playing with Kate and I just had to capture this sweet moment between the two of them. Here are some of my favorites shots. I know that Mckenna knows for sure that I love her just by the way she treats Baby Kate. It is precious.
