Today after church we came home and took naps and just relaxed. After the kids got up we played for a little bit and just spent some time with just the four of us. Mckenna has just in the last day or so started sitting up on her own, so Blake and her played on our bed for a while too. It was so neat to see them interacting together, I look forward to watching their relationship grow. Blake has never been your "sit on your lap" type of kid, but today after his nap, he asked if he could sit on my lap and I would sing to him. I didn't hesitate one breath. I love being able to just hold him and talk with him. He has so much to say these days and is learning so much it just amazes me.
