So we are down to 25 days until we move into the house. We went last night to take some measurements for the blinds (which is a story in its self) and the walls are painted and the floors are in. Anywhere that will not have carpet was put in on Friday and Saturday. So basically the kitchen, foyer, laundry room, and bathrooms. It looks really good and just makes me more anxious about everything else. The next step is cupboards I believe and then appliances, carpet and baseboards. We walked in the backyard a little bit too. It is a mess really, we have a large backyard and they are leaving half of it dirt and the other half...well a mess. My dad and brother-in-law are coming to help put the new backyard in for us. The front yard is done for us as it comes with the house... but the backyard was up to us. Luckily, we will have help with that, or else we would be the neighbors with the nasty yard.
