Twas' the Night before Christmas and all through our house, Blake was screaming and sweet lil' Mckenna, squealed like a mouse. Nate was watching Christmas Vacation and sipping his Egg nog, while I sat typing away at my blog. We all were excited about what was going to happen on this night, that we were a lil' giddy and kept the sky in our sight. We enjoyed a Family Christmas Eve Service, then talked over dinner of the things we have and how we do not deserve any of this. Blake scattered the food in the yard for the eight tiny reindeer, and put out cookies and milk in hopes they would all disappear. When both Blake and Mckenna were tucked into bed, we sat and waited before gathering the gifts from under our bed. As we sit on the couch to finally rest, we again begin to talk of how this past year has seemed yet to be the best. We gave thanks to God for our good health, home and dear friends, and prayed that God would continue to bless us to the end. As I check on both kids once more and then turn out the light, I wish to say ...
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night."
