Today Blake asked if he could send a letter to his best friend. So we got out the paper and crayons and he told me what he wanted to say. He held the crayon with me and we wrote a very important message. He put the stamp in the right spot and licked the envelope and sealed it with a heart sticker (that he picked out on his own). We went out to the mailbox and put it inside. He then lifted the red flag so that the mailman would know to pick up the letter. Then he sat and waited patiently for the mailman to come. He finally arrived and took the letter and will deliver it to Blake's best buddy. He was so excited about what he had just done. He is growing up so fast.
