VBS

This past week was our VBS at church and we had a great turnout!! We had over 1200 people each day learning about characters in the Bible that were challenged by God to do something. It was a lot of fun to watch all the kids and volunteers having a great time with worship, crafts, recreation and more. We had a lot of great coordinators that were in charge of keeping things running smoothly for us and they did an exceptional job. It is always fun getting to spend time with them each day and getting to know them better. Here is just two of my eight coordinators that helped in my areas that I oversaw for the week. Thanks girls for a great week and all your support. 

Each year we try to get the coordinators a little gift to show how much we appreciate all their work and many hours they have put into making this week happen. This year I gave the girls hot pads for their kitchens. I found these really cute hot pads and then put their initials on each of them and added a note of thanks on the inside pocket. They loved them, and I did too...I think I am going to make myself one now too.
