Things have been very busy here the last couple of weeks so I am a little bit behind on my blogs.
Easter weekend was so much fun, it started with sissy's surgeries, lots of family visiting and beautiful weather. I didn't want the weekend to end. I did not want my family to leave, and wish we were closer so we could spend more time like that together. It gets harder and harder each year for me. So to have mom, sister, brother-in-law and dad all in a few days was great!!!!
Thursday mom and Blake got to hang out just the two of them all day. Blake was in heaven to have Nana just to himself. They got to go to Paint-n-Play and make shirts for him and Mckenna. He had a blast painting his puppy shirt.
Friday, Ryanne and Kasey got here and we had a blast with them. I love having Ry here and the kids love Kasey and have fun with him. Saturday we just relaxed around the house and enjoyed catching up with them. Dad got here late afternoon and helped Nate and Kasey put the storm door in, (which I love having~ makes a huge difference on the outside of the house and then lets so much light in when I open the front door). We did our big Easter dinner on Saturday night. Ry and I made the most delicious Ham, green bean casserole, potatoes, and so much more. It was so good. Sunday was a busy day for Nate and I so everyone else helped out with the kids and we could not have done the day without them. Once we got home and had some lunch, we headed out to hunt some Easter Eggs, and look through the kids baskets. We had a fun afternoon and didn't want to see anyone go, we all had so much fun!!!

Awww, your kids get cuter and cuter, Amanda. I know what you mean about it getting harder every year when you're living away from family--especially when you have growing kids, it makes you really feel the time between each visit!
