HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Mother's Day was awesome for me this year as it marks half a decade for me as a mom. I woke up to several pictures of the kids on my mirror. I loved how Nathan put them in a circle so when I stood in front of the mirror my babies surrounded me. I just stood there and cried as I looked on and the memories of them being little and each of those moments that were captured in the photo filled my mind. It is hard to remember them being that small sometimes. He left my gift on the counter so I would have it for church that morning. I have been wanting a lanyard to wear with my keys for work on it but just have not gotten one yet. He surprised me with one that had beautiful beads on it that he picked out himself. I absolutely love it. Nathan is amazing when it comes to buying me gifts. He always knows exactly what to get me. Both the kids woke up and said "Happy Mother's Day to me"! They also left me a video message as well. They are too sweet and think of it all when it comes to making me feel special. We all had a busy day at church and then came home and took naps, which is my favorite part of the day. We went to Mimi's for dinner which is one of the best resturants in Mason and then just enjoyed the rest of the evening together. I love my two kids and would not trade them for the world. Thanks Nathan, Blake and Mckenna for making me feel so special this year. I love you all.

Blakes preschool class put on a special Mother's Day Tea Party. It was so cute. He came out into the hallway, gave me a beautiful hat that he made for me and escorted me to my seat at our table. He even pulled out my chair. It was a special day just for the two of us.
