Blake had homework this past week to work on and we wanted to be sure to set ground rules early. I was never good at doing homework like my parents told me to. They said to do it right when I get home and be done with it and then I would have more time to do what I wanted to. I never did and usually ended up hurrying to finish it all up at the last minute. So we told Blake that he would have to do his homework before anything else. We let him play a little bit and eat dinner and then he has to work on his homework while we clean up the kitchen. Because of his every other day classes, they send home a packet on the first day, and then it is due a week later. So he has to work on the packet each night until it is finished. So far not so bad....he was not happy with Nathan when Nate made him redo his letters a few times, but in the end, everyone was happy.
