So two weeks ago, we put Blake on the bus to go to Kindergarten, and today, we took Mckenna to Preschool!! What an emotional few weeks it has been for me. Today was a lot easier for me than the day I put Blake on a bus, but Mckenna is in the same building as we are and with three women I know and trust. I knew that we made such a big deal out of Blake's first day of school so I knew I had to do the same thing for Mckenna!! It was fun watching her and how excited she was about it too. All weekend long, I kept asking her about preschool and she would say, "I go to school too with Miss Robin, Miss Diana and Miss Adele!" It was so cute!!
Monday night we packed lunches, painted her toenails and fingernails, laid out her clothes and talked all about what she was going to do in class on her first day.
We had a good breakfast, got Blake on the bus and headed off to school. She was so excited and did such a great job going into class and saying "Good Morning!" to her teachers. Her best buddy, Ryan, is in her class so the two stuck pretty close together. I can't believe how big she is getting. It goes way to fast. Before I know it she will be getting ready to ride the bus.
