After a crazy week of Hurricane Ike raging through Texas and several other states and then Cincinnati getting hit by the wind storm, I must stop to count my blessings. I caught myself that sunday during the wind storm complaing about the damage done to our neighbors home and how upset I would have been. He did not seem to upset about what had just happend, and that just boggled me. I then came back inside and turned on the news to see pictures of what Texas now looked like after the storm. I stopped complaining at that moment. I often find myself grumbling about the little frustrations and inconveniences of life. Watching the news that day was very humbling and much needed. Here are few shots I found on the internet that made me count my many blessings even more.
I am thankful for Blakes messy room.
I am thankful that it only takes a few minutes to
clean up Blakes trains all over the living room floor

I am thankful for a little road construction.

I am thankful for our corner UDF
I am thankful for my neighborhood
I am thankful for the power.
I am thankful for my bed.
I am thankful for my home.
God Bless all those that have been forever changed because of the storms.
My prayers continue to go out to all of those families.
