The other day when getting ready to leave for Lebanon to see Thomas, Blake went to the restroom one last time before heading out the door. He had a car in his hand and when I went to flush the potty, he dropped it in the toliet and it disappeared. I screamed and Blake looked at me with shock. He turned back towards the toliet and tears started streaming down his face. He looked up at me and said with the saddest face, "Where did my car go?" I had to explain that his car was now gone and that we would not be able to find it. He was so upset, I was afraid that it would clog the pipes and we would have serious problems. Later in the car, he asked Nathan if the angels would be able to get his car for him. He was so upset about the car and kept asking if we were going to be able to find it when we got back home. It was so sweet. It reminded me of the story in the Bible where Jesus uses the illustration of the Shepherd who does everything he can to find the one lost sheep. He had 99 other sheep but one wandered away and he searched until he found it. Blake has a thousand cars and he was so distraught over the one that he lost.
