21 Months going on 5 years old!

Mckenna is 21 months old today~ only 3 months until she is 2! I can't even believe it! She has changed so much just within the last several weeks. The number of words she can say has definitely increased. She has so much to say, so much energy, and so much life, we love it!!! She is not usually a picky eater, she loves veggies, hamburgers, salad and of course chocolate!! She gets that from me! Her favorite junk food would have to be suckers and fruit snacks. We have had many nights (ok early mornings~ 2 am) when she wakes up wanting a sucker!! She is very independent like her brother but will snuggle for a few minutes if you want her too. She wants her purple blanket at bedtime and the dreaded passy too. We are trying to break that habit. She loves to pick on her brother whenever possible! She wants to play with his toys to make him mad and she succeeds most of the time. She loves to take her baby dolls on a walk, play in her kitchen, and play with the Lego's. She is just now starting to get into looking at books. She loves bath time and splashing in the water...I am not crazy about that!! She wants daddy to get her out, dried off and put her jammies on. But it is mommy she wants to rock her and put her to bed each night and its "mommy" she wants at the wee hours of the morning!!! She loves to sing her ABC's although it is usually just "efg" that is repeated over and over again. She loves to sing "ring around the rosie" with daddy and spin around, then fall to the ground way before the song tells her too. She loves to be tickled, and hates to be carried. She wants to walkie (as she calls it). She is miss independent for sure. When she wants something you know it, and if she doesn't think things are going they way she thinks they should, we get the pout lips (and I mean some big lips here) and a high pitched scream! It can be ear piercing at times. But when she is happy, the girl never stops smiling. She loves life to the fullest. She may only be 21 months but she sure does teach me good lessons about how we should view life each day.
We love you little love bug and look forward to continue watching you grow each day!!

Awww, I love hearing about your kids like this! Mckenna sounds so sweet and so fun. This 1.5 to 2 year age range is so awesome--I work with that age at church, and it's so inspiring to watch them come in mostly quiet and timid and leave talking up a storm!
