Getting Bigger

Blake is now 4 years old and only 8 months away from being the BIG 5 years old!!! I can not believe it, that next year he will be in Kindergarten. I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday. Blake amazes me, he is so full of life and energy that it wears us out. If you know Blake, you know that he never stops...talking, moving, eating and many other things. He goes from about 7 am until about 9 pm without even blinking I think. He has so many questions about life and why this and why that. There are times when I think that my head is going to explode because he keeps asking questions that half the time I have know idea how to answer him. Then there are the times when I am not with him, that I miss him like crazy. He loves preschool right now. He loves to learn, so it is Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon that his teacher Miss Linda has to deal with all the questions. Right now, they have been learning about how important it is to fill peoples buckets with good things. Its amazing how he understands this concept. He tries to do a lot to fill our buckets at home. Today he told me that a friend of his was not filling his (blakes) bucket, that he was taking from it instead by not being nice to him. And that he too was dipping into someone else's bucket by not being nice to them. WOW!! I hope that I have filled his bucket, because my is overflowing because of him right now. He is learning about money and how to use and save it. He has chores at home that he has to do that he gets paid for if he does them. He has done awesome with this. He has to then take money to church for offering out of his bank as well as money for a doughnut on Sundays. Then he is allowed to spend the rest on whatever he wants. We have already made a $15 purchase at Target once. The kid has more money than I do right now. He loves it!!! I love that he like routine, he takes after his me for sure. If we do not do something that we normally do, such as our bedtime routine, then to him, the world has ended. I love this kid and what joy he brings to our life each day.

So I missed Mckenna's 19 Month picture due to Nate and I being out of town...but thats ok. Here is our big girl who is now only 5 months from being 2 years old. I can not believe it. They told me today that she slept on a cot instead of in her crib for naptime. I am just not ready to admit that she is getting bigger and is not a baby anymore. She is really starting to talk more and more these days. It is amazing what new words she knows each day. Today she said "Socks" when I was putting them on her this morning. I just
looked at her and started to tear up. She is so full of life and I would not change it for a minute. She is starting to let me take more and more pictures of her which I love since this is one of my favorite things to do. She loves to dance to music and sing. She is like her mom and dad for sure, the poor thing can not carry a tune and has two left feet, but she sure looks cute when she is doing it. She copies anything and everything that her big brother does. He sees a bus and says choo-choo and she repeats it, he can get her to do anything. She loves when Blake chases her around the kitchen at night while we are making dinner, I on the other hand can't stand it. She loves to climb on the chair and stand up and scare the daylights out of me. She loves to climb up into her high chair, climb up onto her changing table, the girl has no fear. She has the loudest high pitch scream that when things do not go her way or she is upset, you will hear it. She is so much fun to be with and I just love the hugs that her little arms give me.
