This past Sunday, I decided I wanted to try and make my very first Apple Pie. Nathan had made Banana Bread with the kids the day before so I thought, "Why not have them help me make an apple pie?" Blake helped me get all the ingredients that we needed from the pantry, while Nathan started peeling all the apples. The kids had a great time, they really like helping in the kitchen with us. The pie turned out really good, ok maybe not as good as our grandmas pies back home, but not to bad for our first time. The kids loved it!

I'm impressed! The first apple pie I made was when I was pregnant with you. It did not turn out edible!!
