Blake recently went on his first preschool field trip, his class got to go to a local farm for a tour and pick out pumpkins. Nathan and I were lucky enough to take off a few hours of work to go with him and all his friends. It was so much fun. We got to meet Farmer Butch and all his animals and see how the farm is run. Blake got to fee a cow a corn cob, pet a rooster's wing, see donkeys and learn how pumpkins grow. We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch and pick out whatever one he wanted out of millions of pumpkins.
Here is a conversation I had with Blake about the trip.

Mommy: What was your favorite part about your field trip?
Blake: Getting to have my favorite friend Kanshu ride in my car with me.
Mommy: What else did you like?
Blake: I loved, loved, loved the hayride and drinking the juice in my pumpkin cup that Farmer Butch gave us to keep.
Mommy: Is there anything you didn't like about it?
Blake: I didn't like feeding the animals..they were too big and scary.
Mommy: My favorite part was being able to go with you. It was fun!!!
Blake has another really great teacher this year and a really well behaved kids in his class. Thanks Miss Linda and Miss Brenda for another great day.
