Well it is December 5th and we got our first official snowfall with accumulation this morning. When I got Blake out of bed this morning, I pulled up his blinds and let him look out to see what had happened over night. He was so excited and said "Snow Mommy!" He had a huge smile on his face. I on the other hand, was wishing for sun and warm weather and had a frown on my face. I HATE snow. I don't mind it on Christmas morning when you have the fireplace on or the heat in our case, and I am sitting in my warm pajamas in the living room with my husband and son opening presents by our Christmas tree, but other than that... I could really do with out it the rest of the year. Well anyway, we got ready for work ate breakfast and headed out the door. Blake checked out the window to see if it was still snowing and then proceeded to ask, "I play in the snow mommy?", with a big grin on his face. I had to laugh, here he is so excited to see snow and really understand what it is, all of a sudden I loved the snow, (well only until I stepped out the garage door and felt how cold it was). He was so upset that we didn't get to play in the snow and that we had to come to work, I felt so bad for him. Maybe we will go home tonight and make a snowman in the front yard....maybe! :)
