Blake is your typical boy who is in love with trains. He carries two different Thomas the Tank engines, a pull car and a Percy Train with us wherever we go these days. Nate has been busy with work these last several nights, so today on our day off we decided that we needed to do something for the three of us to spend some time together and not be out in the holiday madness shopping for Christmas. We decided to take Blake to the Duke Energy Center Train Display. I have never really seen the display from the inside, just from passing by and looking in through the windows. It was amazing how many trains they had going and all the tracks laid out. I was rather impressed myself. Blake absolutely loved it. He was doing his high pitched scream when he saw all the trains. It was so cute, everyone around us was chuckling at him. They even to our surprise had a Thomas the Tank Engine Train pulling Harold the Helicopter, and Annie and Clarabelle too. He loved it. Every time it came around to where we were standing, he would scream "THOMAS!! THERES THOMAS!" It was so funny. I am so glad we took the time to drive down there and see it with Blake. Afterwards we went to the Original Pancake House in Kenwood for Brunch. We had a great day and it was much needed for the three of us.
