Tonight we decorated our first GingerBread House. Someone from church made them for us and then gave us the bag of icing and goodies to decorate it with. It has been sitting on our kitchen table for almost two weeks now so we finally decided that tonight would be the night to decorate it. I was excited to see how Blake would do with it. I figured he would want to eat all the candy. But to our surprise, he was more interested in "painting" with the paintbrush...aka the spatula. He had a blast with it. Once we had all the icing on we started to add the candy to it. We started with the M&M roof, this part cracked us up. If you know Blake, he does NOT like to get his hands dirty, so when he realized that putting the M&M's on the house, he would get icing on his fingers, he began to throw the candy at the house. To our surprise, it stuck!!! Here Nate and I were trying to be real neat about it and Blake is just throwing the candy on there. So that's what we did then, just threw it on there. The three of us were cracking up. We had so much fun doing this. It ended up not turning out so bad really. It is kind of cute.
