Blake has been sick the last two days with a fever. It was pretty high through the night on Friday and then again in the morning on Saturday. He seemed to be doing much better though during the day so we went to church Saturday night. On the way home he fell asleep in the car and didnt want dinner when we got home. His temperature went back up and he started to shake from the chills so bad. So we gave him a warm bath and the three of us wrapped up in a blanket on the couch to get him warm again. When we put him to bed his temperature went back up to 101.5. We checked on him several times throughout the night as I was scared all night that he would have another seziure from his high temperature. He woke up several times so it was a long one for all of us. I decided to keep him home from Church this morning- which is something we NEVER do. He slept alot and finally was able to break his fever around 12:30 or so this afternoon. We have done nothing but lay on the couch and watch movies. He finally ate some lunch and seems to be doing better. I hope the rest of the night goes well and my little man is back to normal tomorrow for school!

Sorry to hear that your little guy is sick! Ethan is finishing up meds for another ear infection now...and that's what I was going to tell you...with Ethan, when he's not sleeping well it ALWAYS seems to be an ear infection. Especially when it's accompanied with a fever (usually in the 100-101 range). They say that they'll show signs of their ears hurting but Ethan NEVER does until it gets bad...and the only thing he does is wake up during the night! No ear pulling, no complaining, nothing else at all. So anyway, just thought I would share! Glad he seems to be getting better! :) Take care!
