Christmas Day

This by far was one of the best Christmas' that I can remember. We had so much fun with the kids this year. I didn't want the morning to end. Blake was so excited about it that he was up at 6 am wanting to go downstairs. We were mean and made him wait until 7:30 before we got out of bed. At first, he was so excited about everything that he took his first gift, opened it screamed and threw it above his head and wanted the next one. We made him slow down and take turns with Mckenna so that we didn't miss either of their reactions on their gifts. They both had the best facial expressions when they got something they really liked. We were cracking up just watching them.

The kids loved their gifts and were so excited. Nathan and I both loved our gifts from each other too. Nathan really did good this year, he got me a pair of shoes I had been eyeing for a while and totally surprised me with them. I got Nathan a watch he had wanted and he loved it. I really wished that we could have paused time and never let the morning end.

The kids wanted us to open every gift once they unwrapped it so they could play with it. It took us about 2 hours to go through it all before we stopped for breakfast.
