In just a few minutes we will be watching the Ball drop once again to ring in the New Year. Each year seems to go faster and faster. It is hard for me to believe sometimes that we have two beautiful children that God has entrusted us to raise. We have so much fun with them and enjoy watching them grow. We have had a great year up to this point, I can say that we were truly blessed. We have enjoyed many nights of hanging out with friends this past year and our growing relationships with all of them. We have enjoyed many family nights at home just being the four of us and being goofy. We had our first family vacation with "G" to the beach this past summer and really enjoyed it. The kids like the pool better than the beach but hey...we can say we were there and tried it. Lots of family came down to us to visit on several occasions and help out here or there with the kids. I greatly appreciate all the family and friends that helped when the kids were sick and we were unable to take off work. We could not have done it without you. This year has been full of many great events and it makes me kind of sad that it is over. But then I think about what is to come in the next year and can not wait for it to begin.
Tonight we attended the Family New Years Eve Event at church and had a great time. The kids loved all the blow-ups, video games, the food and I enjoyed catching up with several friends. We all enjoyed the worship, especially Mckenna! She was a dancing queen tonight. It was too cute. We came home and went right over to our neighbors house for a while. Blake and Nathan played Rock Band with everyone while Mckenna continued to dance away. What a great way to end the year.
We hope that you too have been blessed in your past year and that God continues to do so in 2010.
