This past Friday, Blakes preschool class had a pajama party. He was so excited about it. The kids were allowed to bring in a pillow, a blanket and a speacial stuffed animal as well as wear the pajamas of course. They were going to be watching a movie and doing some fun activities throughout the afternoon. Blake could not wait....he calls his pajamas 'pajammies', not sure where he got that from but I think it is cute!! So we picked out what he would wear the night before, got his new McQueen pillow that Nana got him for Christmas, along with his beloved stuffed Rudulf from Nunnie ready to go for the next morning.
Once class started, they found out they were going to have pancakes for a snack. But when they got back from Chapel, the mix was gone. A Bear had taken it from their room. So of course they had to go on a 'Bear Hunt' to find the pancake mix. They searched high and low for that bear. They finally found the bear in the gym with the pancake mix in his lap. The kids were all screaming at this point!!! Blake was the only one brave enough to go and grab the mix out of the bears lap. He grabbed the mix, and the entire class went running through the halls back to the room and slammed the door shut. I was following along watching this all unfold and I was cracking up. They were having so much fun. The class had a blast and enjoyed their 'Pajama Party' for sure. They finished out the afternoon watching Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs.
Blakes teacher, Miss Linda, took some pictures of the class in the 'pajammies' and then some of Blake with the bear. Thanks Miss Linda and Miss Brenda for such a fun day!!!
