Christmas with Family

It's tradition for us to wake up on Christmas morning, have our Family Christmas with the kids and then head back to our hometown to be with family. We spend the next several days visiting with family, eating way to much food and trying to figure out how we are going to get all the gifts we have just gotten home in our car. We always head straight to dads to spend Christmas with him and my grandparents. We look forward to time with them, sweet potatoe casserole, and grandmas oysters and who can forget the peanut butter celery!! YUM!!!
The next day we were able to enjoy a morning worshiping together as a family at Nathan's parents church. Then the afternoon was spent with Nathan's side of the family!! We enjoyed seeing everyone and laughing together at many...many...many things!!! Monday we relaxed and did a little bit of shopping. Then I got to spend the evening with my cousins while eating pizza, chicken and Jo-Jos!! A favorite meal of ours. My cousin that lives in California was home so it was so nice to see her. I miss those girls so much!!!
Tuesday we spent the afternoon with Nathans grandparents. They are the sweetest couple...they are just too cute. Grandma always makes to much food and then wants you to eat her pies. I enjoyed the cookies....haha!! Grandpa always makes us each a wooden ornament and amazes us each year with his talents. Later that night we were with my moms side of the family and again ate way to much and got too many gifts!!! We had a lot of fun laughing and being able to spend time with Pap who was supposed to be at work but was able to be with us. I love being with family and its hard to catch up with everyone in just a few hours. It is always hard being home and realizing just how much you miss everyone and knowing that within a few hours you have to pack the car and head back home. It will be a about a month or more now before we see family again....I don't like to think about that so I will look at the pictures we took and think about all our conversations to hold me until then. We love you all and already miss you!!! Thanks for wonderful holiday!!!

I Love this picture!!!
