Since moving here, we have been on more "mini trips" then ever before. It is so neat being where we are and so close to so many amazing cities, that have so many things to see and do. One of the fun things we got to do a while ago was drive to Philadelphia and see the Liberty Bell. That place is one crazy city that's for sure. We parked the car and had to walk a couple of blocks as they were having some kind of a religious event in the middle of the square. It was really neat to see and hear the speakers and listen to the music. We stood in line for about 15 minutes and then were ushered into the building where we got to read all about the Liberty Bell. The kids just really wanted to see the Bell so we kind of 'ran' through the literature. We finally got up to the part where the Bell was and they were so excited to see it. We all had expected the Bell to be bigger than it actually was. The area was crazy so it took a few minutes until we could get close enough to get a picture without someone else jumping in. We had a great time and it was fun to learn a little more about a piece of history!!!
