Blake~

This kid continues to amaze me each day. He loves to spell anything that he sees. He loves to see how fast he can spell his name. Some of his first words to spell were Blake Davis Grella, dad, mom, go, stop, red, Kohl's, Target, cat and hat. Some of his favorite words to spell would be Mckenna and Pharmacy. He has a little trouble with these two and still needs some help, but he is pretty good. Blake likes to know details about everything. He is like me in so many ways it scares me sometimes. If we do not explain things to him to his liking, he will continue to ask questions until he is satisfied. His favorite movie right now is Shrek 2, he knows almost the entire movie by heart but will crack up laughing every time he watches it. He is very routine oriented to the point where it drives me crazy. Everything he does have to be done the way he did it the last time. He likes to help me put the dishes away when I am unloading the dishwasher. He gets the napkins for each of us at dinner time and puts them by our plates. He loves to help wake Mckenna up in the morning with us, and then talk to her while I am changing her diaper. He loves the cartoon "Martha Speaks" in the morning along with "Sid the Science Kid." His favorite toys are his Batman Cave, Nerf Guns, and his Marble Maze set. He loves to come home and take his socks off and lay in front of the couch with his legs and feet under it and feel the heat from the heater. He is one of the best things that God has given me and I praise Him each day for allowing me to be the one to witness this energy filled, life loving, question asking little boy.

OK...so Blake sounds EXACTLY like Ethan...seriously...scary-like. :) We should get them together sometime! Ethan is reading 1st grade level books now at age 3, loves puzzles and spelling and easy math. And the whole routine thing...yeah. Don't even think about throwing something new at him unless you want WWIII on your hands! Ah, the joys of parenting intelligent children. ;)
