Fun in the Snow

We didn't get a snow day today but we did have snow. This is the first real accumulation that we have had here. After being sent home a little early from work, I got Nate and Blake all bundled up and sent them out to play in the snow and sleet. Mckenna and I enjoyed watching from the front window. Blake loved going down the driveway on the rubbermaid lid from my wrapping paper box. We are to cheap for a sled so we improvised. Blake had a blast playing in the snow, as this is really the first time I have let him do this. I know, I am a mean mom, I just never wanted him out in the cold in the years past. So with many, many, many layers, he was on his way. Here is a few pictures of him getting ready to go out and then some of the fun that he and daddy had while outside and then some hot cocoa when he came in. Next year, Mckenna and I may join them in the fun.
